Berlinale Talents Project Manager
Christine Tröstrum was born in Ravensburg in 1972 and studied cultural and theatre studies / cultural communication in Berlin. She worked for several film festivals in Germany and France until 2000. From 1998 to 2000 she was project manager at the European Film Centre in Babelsberg. Amongst others, she was project manager until 2004 of Cartoon Movie, the European Co-Production Market for Animated Feature Films in Babelsberg, as well as head of an international conference series in Berlin-Brandenburg (today known as Media Convention) until 2005.
Since 2004, she has been working for Berlinale Talents, of which she assumed general management in 2008 and continues to manage together with Florian Weghorn since 2014. She is one of the initiators of the Berlinale Residency programme and several Talents International programmes such as Talents Durban, Talents Guadalajara and Talents Tokyo, initiatives realized through cooperations of Berlinale Talents and other film festivals. In 2016, she received a diploma in systemic organisational counseling and change management.

ولدت كريستين تروستروم في رافنسبورغ عام 1972، وتخصّصت في الدراسات المسرحية والثقافية والتواصل الثقافي في برلين. وعملت في عدّة مهرجاناتٍ للأفلام في ألمانيا وفرنسا حتى عام 2000. وقد شغلت منصب مديرة عامة في مركز الأفلام الأوروبية في بابلسبيرغ ما بين العامين 1998 و2000. وحتى عام 2004، تولّت إلى جانب غيرها من الأشخاص إدارة Cartoon Movie، وهو سوق الإنتاج المشترك الأوروبي لأفلام التحريك الطويلة في بابلسبيرغ، بالإضافة إلى أنّها استلمت حتى عام 2005 منصب رئيسةٍ لسلسلة مؤتمرات دولية في برلين – برادنبورغ تُعرف اليوم بـ Media Convention.
وتعمل تروستروم منذ عام 2004 في برنامج مواهب البرليناله، وقد أصبحت مديرته العامة في عام 2008. وتتولّى حالياً مع فلوريان فيغهورن شؤون الإدارة منذ عام 2014. وهي أحد مؤسسي برنامج البرليناله وغيرها من برامج المواهب الدولية المتعدّدة مثل مواهب ديربان، ومواهب غوادالاخارا، ومواهب طوكيو، وهي مبادرات تمّ تنفيذها بالتعاون مع برنامج مواهب البرليناله وغيرها من مهرجانات الأفلام. وحازت تروستروم في عام 2016 شهادة في تطوير الأعمال وتقديم الاستشارات اللازمة لتنظيمها الشامل.
